Riches of this region are concealed chiefly in very good natural conditions, that create not only essence of healthy life of people whom live here, but proximately ask for wanderings in the nature, on that you can find a lot of unique as beauty of canyon of Juraňova valley, singularity and majesty of West High Tatras - Roháče and their hills, or picturesqueness of upper Orava's nature, which contrasts to hard conditions of life of Orava's people. Orava could pride itself on not only natural, but also a lot of cultural and historical values, including of jewel like Orava's castle, one of most beautiful castle in Central Europe. Rustic and folk heritage of Orava's people admittedly takes a huge worth in the region. Open-air-museum in Zuberec - Brestová is not only stately architectonic museum, but near amphitheatre is stage of annual Under - Rohače Folkloric Festival, where you can see appearance of many folk artists and groups. Excellent natural conditions give basis for complex physical and mental rest, but also many opportunities for sports within whole year (hiking, cycling in nice environs of Orava, water sports at Orava's dam, skiing on West High Tatras - Roháče).
